Three Tips for Millionaire Networking
As a full-time Canadian real estate investor, we must do all we can to drive business towards us. As an entrepreneur, we must be making massive and passive income in order to be successful as a full-time Canadian real estate investor.
How can I attract a Quality Network?
We must surround ourselves with like-minded people in order to create, not just initial business, but referral business and joint-ventures. There is business all around us, everyday, everywhere we look, and we are just not aware of that.
To become successful, we must take advantage of every opportunity, and understand where the opportunities lay. I am here to tell you that the opportunities are certainly abundant, so we must be prepared at all times to speak about our business, and to have business cards at the ready, so you are prepared for any unforeseen moment.
Head’s up! Before you start your Networking
So for starters – you must have practiced a basic speech that you have essentially memorized that describes what you do, highlighting the facts that you give handsome referrals to people that refer you, and the people that are referred by them are treated with respect, with care, and with honesty.
The amount of people you talk to will reflect in the amount of business that you do. Canadian real estate investing is a numbers game: the more people that know about you, the more business you will get, it’s as simple as that.
But what should I say?
To be successful in millionaire networking, how you speak to them is the key. By that, I mean you must speak intelligently about you business, and be able to field answers to general questions as well as questions that sometimes come out of left field.
Education and skill is essential in being able to be a successful full-time Canadian real estate investor. The more you know, the more education you have, the less risk you will have, and the more you will be able to turn any situation into a potential deal, therefore putting more money in your pocket.
Dress for Success
Secondly – the way you dress in public is very important. When you are out in public, you need to dress, as they say, for success. If you are in any sort of networking situation, you need to look as if you are successful already. You never know who you may meet while millionaire networking.
Thirdly – We want to always be advertising to everybody around us that we know. Be that our friends, family, people we meet in the grocery store, people we meet at networking meetings etc. Just get around people and don’t be afraid to talk about what you do.
There are so many facets to this real estate business that can create multiple streams of income for you.
So my advice is practice your speech, don’t be afraid to talk to anyone/everyone about what you do and make sure that you are dressing for success.
